Description
This product is inspired by the border motif of an Indian carpet of the Mughal Era woven in the 1500-1800’s. This carpet is currently stored in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The border motif is a part of Islamic decorative culture, basically used on prayer carpets. A paired scroll of serrated orange leaves outlined in red develops from the center of the border.
