Description
The carpet takes its name from a village near Gusar. A star-like geometric shape drawn with dotted lines is the main element of the Zeiva carpet, and it dates back to medieval ages. The shape of this element in carpets woven in the Guba is usually unchanged, but the interior design can vary, and sometimes can be cross-shaped, and that would have a symbolic meaning.
