Description
This item is inspired by the elements of “Lachak Turunj” composition which comprises two key elements – “Lachak” (a petal and/or a face, in some interpretations) and “Turunj” (a bitter orange). Turunj served as a gift in ancient times due to its pleasant adore. Acopper tray with the fruits was placed or hanged in the middle of the room (this tradition still remains in North-East Iran). According to some interpretations, this tradition has resulted the association of Turunj with the center of the carpet.
