Shirvankilims are embellished with classical ornamental motifs such as qivrim (‘coil’) and kilimgülü (‘kilim flower’). Their curved, hooked shapes are wonderfully expressive and convey the sense of primeval, untamed passion – just the stuff fine jewellery is made of.
